Mr. Allen has more than 38 years of experience as an intellectual
property attorney, primarily in the patent, trade secret and technology
transfer areas, in both corporate and private practice. Prior to joining Roberts Mlotkowski
Safran & Cole, P.C., Mr. Allen was in-house IP counsel at The Procter & Gamble Company, in
Cincinnati, Ohio and Brussels, Belgium and at Mobil Oil Corporation in Fairfax, Virginia. Mr.
Allen also practiced at the law firm of Bernard & Brown, P.C. in Washington, D.C. He
specializes in patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-market assessments and
technology-based agreement preparation and counseling, primarily in the chemical arts and
has counseled clients on IP-related matters involving Europe and Japan.
