Mr.
Edward F. Kenehan, Jr. is a Senior Counsel to Roberts, Mlotkowski, Safran & Cole.

Mr. Kenehan has over 30 years experience
in the field of intellectual property, particularly in sectors involving
chemistry, chemical engineering and biotechnology. His practice
has involved patent procurement, infringement and validity opinions,
patent interferences, reissues, reexaminations, appeals to the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences,
appeals to U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and licensing.
Representative technology areas include
catalysis, petrochemicals, polymers, films, fibers, pharmaceuticals,
metallurgy, semiconductors, agrochemicals, proteins and recombinant
DNA.
Mr. Kenehan has specialized in interference
practice and has actively participated in numerous interferences dating
back to 1980.
Mr. Kenehan served in the United States
Army (Natick Laboratories and Walter Reed Army Hospital) as an analytical
and synthetic chemist. Mr. Kenehan also was as an analytical chemist
at the National Institutes of Health.
Mr. Kenehan has presented speeches
at professional and educational organizations including the Virginia
State Bar Intellectual Property Association and the Japanese Intellectual
Property Association.
Mr. Kenehan has been awarded an AV
rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
