Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hobbes practiced intellectual property law as a solo
practitioner in Washington DC, specializing in drafting and prosecuting patent
applications for various Fortune 50 corporate clients in the fine chemicals,
pharmaceuticals, personal care products, and textile areas, as well as
trademarks.
Before that, he practiced intellectual property law for 14 years at Mobil Oil Corporation where he
specialized in US and foreign patent prosecution in the chemical arts, including catalyst, refinery
processing and plastic films technologies.
